Senior Quality Engineer

An exciting Quality Engineering vacancy for an experienced and diligent professional. You will quickly develop into an integral part of the team, taking on responsibility for the Quality of their innovative new products.


THE ROLE
·Establish the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications.
·Look to improve the company at every opportunity, aiming to achieve relevant certificates and accreditation.
·Ensuring the manufacturing and production processes across the business meet both the international and national standards at all times.
·Define quality procedures.
·Set up and maintain controls and document procedures and practices.
·Monitor performance by gathering data and generating reports.
·Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements were appropriate.
·Implement new strategies for quality improvement.
·Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and staff members understand quality improvement strategies.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We're looking for a candidate that shows enthusiasm, initiative and excellent communication skills. However, the following basic skills would be an advantage -
·Engineering Degree or time served experience.
·A solid amount of experience in a similar role.
·Strong training and presentation skills.
·Strong sense of role ownership.
·Skills in numerical and statistical analysis.
·Ability to lead and motivate a team.
·Ability to work efficiently and enthusiastically both as part of a team and as an individual.
