We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join our team here at Greencore, Kiveton. In the role of QA, the key focus will be to assist in the production of safe food, which meets customer specification and legal requirements by ensuring the effective operations of agreed procedures through regular auditing.

• Line weight checks and complete paperwork.
• Take appropriate and effective corrective action.
• Inform Quality Manager in the event of non-conformance.
• Take appropriate and effective corrective action in the event of a non-conformance.  Record all actions taken.
• Collect micro samples, on request / routine.
• Collect product samples to routine.
• Collect WIBIT samples, and conduct WIBIT panels.
• Monitor work in progress fridges and finished product, take appropriate Action if necessary.
• Report condition of factory to Quality Manager and other QAs on daily occurrence sheets.
• Conduct routine audits.
• Ensure all equipment for measuring weight and temperature are routinely Tested and documented.
• Complete paperwork, and monitor production use of Claricom system.
• Other ad hoc exercises as directed by your Quality Manage

Educated to GCSE or equivalent, you’ll be computer literate and have some understanding of basic food safety. 12 months previous experience of working within food manufacturing would be required whilst supervisory experience would be beneficial.
