ROLE
Supporting the Technical Account Manager in maintaining accurate specifications and artwork in a timely manner for assigned retail accounts and maintaining accurate specifications for Manufacturing & Food Service Customers.
Principal Responsibilities:
Completion of customer specifications in a timely manner. Ensuring all information is relevant and accurate against purchase specifications/customers COPs
To communicate any issues relating to specification or artwork promptly so as not to delay any launches within the business.
Co-ordinator of company artwork generation and approval. To ensure that new artwork and artwork amends are processed through the business in line with SOI approvals and timescales.
To liaise with design houses, customers and printers to ensure that artwork is progressed according to critical timelines and that all appropriate departments agree and sign off artwork in accordance with protocol.
Maintenance of artwork approval log at all times.
Obtaining and maintaining packaging specifications ensuring they are available for all current packaging items, signed by both parties and accompanied by the appropriate migration certificates (primarily food contact materials). Undertake an annual review of packaging specification folders and update as appropriate ensuring that folders held in other departments reflect any changes.
Review of procedures for continuous improvements in the generation of artwork to improve efficiencies and costs.
Customer / visit support as and when required – lunches, booking of accommodation, documentation etc.
Update and report KPI relating to artwork and specification completion.
To be part of the internal auditing team
CANDIDATE
Skills & Knowledge:
Fluent IT skills (MS office to include Excel, Word & Access)
Attention to detail
Office management skills / aptitudes,
GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Experience of food manufacturing specifications is an advantage
Experience and Qualifications:
First class written and verbal communication presentation
First class interpersonal & organisational skills
Urgent and responsive – to customer and business needs
Diplomatic in relationships with customers, suppliers, staff and external agencies
Able to use own initiative
Knowledge/training Legislation relating to food labelling regulations
Attendance of customer web-based specification training
