My client is a food manufacturer that produces a range of high quality products to retail sector. Due to growth of the business, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering department.

As a Maintenance Engineer your main responsibilities will include to maintain and service all existing production lines in the factory and ensure all plant equipment runs at optimal levels. You be will involve heavily in projects that will take the factory to the next step.

A successful candidate will hold an engineering qualification in either mechanical or electrical such as HNC, ONC, City and Guild's, or a time served apprenticeship. Due to the nature of the job experience of working in a food manufacturing setting would be beneficial but all candidates from a FMCG environment will be considered.

Your attitude, ambition and drive is key to be successful in the application process. Whether you lack on the electrical or mechanical side they will train you on your weaker to make you a truly multi-skilled engineer.
