Description
The role of Assistant Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:
Conducting weekly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM's) alongside a team of Engineers from Apprentices, Technicians and MSE's.
Work closely with contractors to ensure full site compliance.
Maintain production equipment within the factory to ensure all the equipment is in the best condition for use.
Undertake Reactive maintenance within the business also, effectively prioritise work to conduct Proactive maintenance.
Support your Engineering team and group wide / working within sister sites to ensure cost effective methods of introduction to new Manufacturing equipment.
Profile
The Assistant Engineering Manager role will require someone from an experienced background within FMCG / Food Production.
This role would suit both a Senior Engineer looking to transition into a Managerial role or a current Engineering Manager looking to change into a more hands on position.
Qualifications are always important with this role any of the below would be amazing to have:
ONC Electrical / City & Guilds 2360 parts 1 & 2 / NVQ level 3 or any other qualifications verified by City & Guilds.
