Fantastic opportunity developing the latest, cutting edge protein ingredient products in a seven-month contract role covering a maternity leave.

Reporting into the Head of R&D, this is an interesting project role that would really suit an individual with an interest in developing protein ingredient products, or who has a solid R&D background in the confectionery sector.

As an experienced Product Developer, you will have a proven track record in creating new concepts from hands-on recipe development through factory trials to launch.

You will work in a newly built State-of-the-Art kitchen developing new solutions and applications for protein bars, snacks and confectionery products.

You will need to confidently present ideas to customers and work with their manufacturing site teams to support product trials. As such the role will involve some travel in the UK and Europe. You'll need to demonstrate credibility with customer; being able to answer questions about ingredient functionality and product performance with confidence. Ideally, you'll be great at engaging with others and be able to create excitement about new concepts. You should have operated successfully in a customer facing role.
