Purchasing Manager

Our client are a leading food manufacturer in the UK. A fantastic vacancy has arisen for a Purchasing Manager in Northamptonshire.
 

The Role:

• Responsible for purchasing packaging and indirects
• Develop relationships with suppliers and create supplier agreements
• Analyse spend data and identify cost savings
• Define and develop purchasing strategies
• Work closely with the Head of Purchasing

The Candidate:

• Strong procurement experience within FMCG is essential
• Charismatic individual
• Analytical and numerical
• CIPS Qualified or studying is beneficial
• Strong IT skills – MS Office and MRP
