This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a dual site role for one of Scotland's largest food manufacturing facilities.

Being a Hygiene Manager can be a hard role at the best of times. Production running behind schedule? Don't worry hygiene can be pushed back. This delay causes the lines not to be cleaned in time? Hygienes fault. Engineering dept gets clear windows to conduct PPM, does hygiene get the same time to do a deep clean?

Does any of this sound familiar? If so, you may wish to consider this role and company.

Why?

Firstly, the company is a professional organisation that takes its hygiene and technical function seriously. While I wouldn't suggest it will be an easy job (is there such a thing in the food industry?) you and your department will be treated with respect and understanding you have a critical role to play.

Secondly, are you fed up of unsociable hours and missing the family? This role is working Monday-Friday days, 8.00am - 4.30pm.

Thirdly, if you are a single site Hygiene Manager and have performed well in your role but are struggling to see the next step in your career at your particularly business, this will offer you a longer-term career step into multi-site management. Managing a dual-site operation is the perfect stepping stone to understand how to juggle your time and attention.

This company is keen to hear from good Hygiene Managers, simple as that. Whether you have worked in Meat, Salads, Confectionary or Bakery they are open-minded as long as you have good people management skills and a technical appreciation of what good hygiene looks like in a large and fast moving food manufacturing environment.
