We are currently looking for a Senior Supply Chain Operative to join our Greencore site in Kiveton. This will be on a 4 On - 4 Off shift pattern on the Day Shift (06:00 – 18:00).

You will be responsible for allocating orders to pickers using a computer based warehouse management systems (WMS), processing orders and confirming off picked product for outbound deliveries, supervising shop floor staff, and at times picking orders using voice activated systems and handheld remote terminals and will be working in a chilled warehouse environment.

You will be driving and operating picking machinery and loading and unloading vehicles.

As a Senior Supply Chain Operative you will also be required to provide on the job training to other employees. 

The desired candidate will have manual picking experience in a Food Manufacturing environment, an understanding of loading bay operations, and knowledge of all shop floor roles. 

Candidates will have an understanding of raw material and warehouse operations and experience in operating warehouse/despatch MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment).

The candidate will also have a good understanding of computer systems, WES preffered but not essential.  Applicants will have strong decision making and problem solving abilities. The candidate will be confident in providing on the job training to other employees, and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
