As the Technical Assistant you will be working with a talented Quality and Technical team, supporting both teams you will be relating technical intelligence and data across the business.

The key responsibilities will include ensuring that high standards are adhered to, analysis of customer requirements and recommendations, to ensure that the requirements for BRC certification are met plus maintain the standards for product safety, legality, traceability, quality and hygiene.

You will carry out internal audits, ensure food safety standards are maintained, ensure the control, quarantine and corrective action of any non-conforming products, monitor and investigate complaints plus organise and assess laboratory testing as required.

Good communication skills are also vital for this role.

The position will suit a forward thinking and self-motivated individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering the best customer service! The business is also considering graduates who have done a placement with a food manufacturer.
