This business is an innovative growing client of MorePeople, they supply into the leading retailers here in the UK and abroad with a range of top quality food products. The business has high quality standards and is keen to recruit a customer facing technologist to join the developing team.

About the Job:
In this role as retail customer technologist you will manage and deliver the technical agenda for a specific retail customer. You will represent the business with customers and third parties from a technical perspective. You will be involved in customer meetings, visits, audits, benchmarking. You will work closely with the team to drive NPD from a technical perspective.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate in agriculture / horticulture / post harvest or food technology and have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a customer facing technical role, preferable in fresh produce / ready to eat environment, it will be advantageous if you have a HACCP, auditing and food safety qualification.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must have experience of working with UK retailers in a customer facing role, you must be a self-starter, and be able to work on your own initiative. You must have a UK driving licence and be prepared to travel within the UK and overseas. The business is fast paced and you will be required to meet the needs of the business as and when required.
