The Candidate:
*We’re looking for a graduate calibre Planning Manager who ideally has a background in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
*You’ll have a significant amount of experience working with Account Managers and customer supply chains.   You will have developed strong working relationships with your major customers and translating their plans into accurate forecasts and delivering an outstanding service level.
*You’ll have team management experience and extensive knowledge of all aspects of the supply chain planning process, including demand, raw materials & production planning.
*You will have excellent IT skills, expert knowledge of ERP systems and have advanced Excel skills.
* You’ll have a passion for what you do and always deliver to the very highest standards. You work with openness, honesty, and integrity. You will be a highly organised individual with the ability to work cross functionally.

The Role:

*You will report to the Operations Director and as a key member of the team you will strive to deliver the business’s growth strategy and the goals in support of the development of world class performance
*As Planning Manager you will have the drive to optimise planning techniques  to increase throughput, improve product quality and minimise losses in our process.
*You will oversee the production planning process to ensure the best balance of finished goods stock availability against minimal working capital utilisation.*A key part of your role as Planning Manager you will manage a small team responsible for demand, raw materials and production planning.  You will work closely with the Operations, Commercial and Sales Teams to maximise the efficiency of the production schedule and sales opportunities.
*You will support and champion the culture of Continuous Improvement, identifying and driving cost saving opportunities to develop a sustainable competitive advantage.
