With a global presence and a team comprising of some of the leading experts in the country within their particular fields, our client’s ingredients ultimately end up in the products you see in the vast majority of the UK retailers. Due to a period of sustained growth, there is now a requirement for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join the existing team.

Holding responsibility for the planning of a number of key ingredients within your assigned division, you will form an integral part of the supply chain team. Co-ordinating shipments from all over the globe, you will negotiate freight rates and analyse transport costs to ensure that you are always using the most efficient method for the particular delivery, whilst being constantly mindful of suppliers’ terms, to ensure contracts are upheld. You will use specialist software to track deliveries.

The successful candidate for this position will have at least 2 years’ planning experience within an international environment. Food ingredients experience is preferred but other relevant exposure will also be considered. It is essential that you can display attention to detail, a logical mind and strong computer skills.
