Distribution Manager

A Distribution Manager is required to join a leading manufacturing business based in the Buckinghamshire area.

As a Distribution Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the external distribution of products and manage day to day distribution performance and adherence to defined benchmarks and key performance targets. You will develop, set and adhere to a clear set of standard operating procedures.

You will also work close with key stakeholders at senior level, internal and external customers and must build strong working relationships with external business providers. As a Distribution Manager you will continuously improve the delivery performance and ultimately the customer experience.

To be successful within this role you will be excellent at negotiation and analytical skills, Able to work and influence in a cross functional team, hold at least 5 years management experience in a logistics operation and hold experience within a fast paced distribution environment. Ideally you will hold Certificate, diploma or advanced diploma in logistics and transport and the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Lean qualification would be desirable. Forklift and Operator Licences are essential for this role.
