This well-established food retailer is one of Britain’s best-loved brands. This is partly due to their commitment to delighting their customers with the most tantalising products on the market. As a Supplier Quality Inspector, to will engage you passive for quality to ensure these products are never anything short of perfect.

Working closely with Technical Managers to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the supply chain, you will conduct unannounced site audits of supplier businesses so as to review the manufacturing operation first hand, seeing how they perform on a daily basis and enabling you rectify an issues before they take root. You will then work hand in hand with suppliers to make sure corrective action plans are put in place and then conducting follow-up visits to make sure suppliers are operating to the businesses exacting standards.

This role will not suit the average auditor as the business seeks an individual who is able to build great relationships with suppliers and work with them to find solutions.  A comprehensive food manufacturing inspector and HACCP experienced professional, you will ideally be a Food or similar graduate who is a real people’s person and is focused on driving excellence. To compliment an existing team of skilled individuals, you will need to have huge problem solving and technical management experience in the food industry in order for you to thrive within this dynamic environment.
