We have invested £150m to develop the first zero carbon milk processing facility in the world in Aylesbury. This is a really exciting period for us and as such, we are looking for equally enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate people to help drive our site forward.
To help our growth we are currently looking to recruit Production Technicians. You will be responsible for the efficient running of a state of the art filling line to ensure the daily production plan is achieved. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you prime tasks will be to meet customer expectations whilst achieving business objectives in terms Quality,
Efficiency, Waste and Cost reduction. You will actively contribute to and seek continuous improvements to achieve targets. Along with other departments, you will work on Lean Manufacturing projects, as well as day to day housekeeping procedures. You will be responsible for resolving minor breakdowns and carrying out basic maintenance, whilst also monitoring equipment performance and raising issues before they become problems.
To be successful in this role you will be a proactive individual who is an effective team member, with the ability and willingness to work on your own initiative. It is essential that you are able to deliver accurate results within tight and pressured timescales. Educated to GCSE level (grade A - C), you will ideally have experience in an operational role within a manufacturing or logistics environment with knowledge of lean tools and techniques. Computer skills are required with previous use of SAP and Microsoft Office advantageous.
The role will work on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and bank holiday.
