The Commercial (Sales) Trainee will assist in and learn about all aspects of the sales department with the aim of becoming a key and integral part of the sales business. You will learn and understand the full nature of the business and company culture, develop expert knowledge and skills within the sales environment whilst also developing a good understanding of the entire business operation and value chain plus develop a strong network of colleagues and contacts inside and outside of the business. You will mainly be based at the company site in the UK, however the role will require travel within the EU.
To be considered for the Commercial Sales Trainee job, you will be a holder of a 2:1 bachelor/masters degree within a commercial, food or technical related discipline and possess 1-2 years experience of working in a technical/sales/commercial environment. You will have a genuine focus for a career in commercial/sales environment and be able to demonstrate a commercial awareness. The flexibility to travel internationally within the EU and a UK valid driving licence is also required. Fluency in an additional European language is desirable.
The Commercial Sales Trainee job is based in the Home Counties region and is paying c. £27,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus 25 days holiday and company benefits.
