We know about food!

Tulip Ltd is the UK’s leading food solutions business, supplying all major food retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies with a wide range of quality products. We provide consumers with a comprehensive range of products in four key mega-categories - fresh meat & sausage, bacon & gammon, cooked meat, and convenience & snacking. Our farm-to-fork operation is unique in the industry, while our strategic framework puts customers, product, efficiency and people at the heart of everything we do, all with a view to growing responsibly. As part of the Danish Crown Group, the largest pork provider in Europe and the biggest exporter of pork in the world, Tulip Ltd is well-placed to deliver its ambitious plans for sustainable growth. If you have an appetite for more, this could be the role for you.

We are currently recruiting for two experienced analysts to join a newly created insight / strategy team within our business (our ‘Nerve Centre’).

This exciting Analyst position offers a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role within a small team,  influencing key business decisions, as the insight generated will feed directly to key exec members.

Role requires travel but will have a base at our Warwick office.

Working as part of a newly formed cross-functional team, you will be utilising our reporting infrastructure to generate insight and recommendations on pricing, buy/sell decisions, stock holding and other key operational decisions on a weekly basis. You will work with a cross-functional team to create insight and recommendations for exec level strategic decisions every quarter and you will help to optimise our internal value-chain by providing visibility of opportunities and develop additional KPIs and reports to enhance business understanding.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with considerable experience of creating impactful and insightful analysis that drives meaningful business decisions. You will be highly analytical, capable of developing clear and simple recommendations from large data sets and have at track record of this in a complex business environment. You will be expert at using Excel and likely experienced with SQL, VBA, Tableau or other reporting packages/query languages. Not only will you be able to create the analysis but you will be able to communicate it simply and straight-forwardly to Exec level stakeholders. A higher quantitative degree is preferable.

  • Competitive salaries

If you are as serious about food as we are and ready to help us make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
