Technical Services Manager
D R Newitt has been assigned to recruit a Technical Services Manager for a food manufacturer based in West Sussex. This is a full-time, permanent position and a great chance for a technical professional to join a market leader boasting an impressive brand portfolio.
Reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for the effective delivery of key customer technical activities and provide effective technical account management. Furthermore you will build strong relationships with customers and provide guidance to raise quality control and quality assurance standards.
This is a site based role in which you will be managing a small team alongside other duties which include:
- Support the Site Technical Manager in meeting customer expectations
- Key point of contact between technical and customers
- Supporting all technical visits
- Ensure compliance of operations and systems with customer COP
- Management of product specifications and artwork
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate:
- Degree qualification in food technology
- Up to date working knowledge of key customer codes of practice & policy
- Knowledge of retailer systems
