The company

We are seeking a talented individual to join an expanding, well established, award winning business who supply into most of the UK major retailers. There is currently lots of growth happening with new buildings and an increase in production lines so there is excellent scope for career progression.

The job

The Production Planner role is intrinsic to the quick turnaround of customer orders and the successful planning and implementation of production plans. You will be responsible for scheduling the manufacture of goods and publishing plans for the production teams, working to strict planning deadlines on a daily basis and ensure the correct ingredients are ordered in accordance with production requirements.

Your experience

We are seeking a methodical, organised and flexible individual who has solid experience (2 years+) from within a production, planning or supply chain role within FMCG, most ideally food manufacturing. You will be highly numerical, have excellent IT skills (particularly Excel), can understand the journey from sales order through to output of product and have the ability to improve upon systems and process flow where appropriate.

The Production Planner job is based in the South West region and is paying a highly competitive salary depending on individual skills and previous experience. This role is working 40 hours per week.
