Are you an interim Development Technologist looking for your next project? Our client is a luxury FMCG business that is recognised for its quality ingredients, innovative product portfolio and beautiful packaging. We are urgently seeking TWO interim Development Technologists to help with a business critical 6 month innovation project, based in Belgium. Soaking up the culture of the city at the weekends, you’ll be working Monday-Friday in a fantastic, highly sought after and dynamic organisation.


Reporting into the Platform Manager, the Development Technologist will be responsible for NPD & EMP, from concept right through to launch, working with cross functional teams to deliver innovative new products on both a regional and global scale. An exciting hands-on role that will involve working alongside the process teams across multiple manufacturing locations and requires candidates with a passion for innovation and the drive to get heavily involved in all stages of development. Working through the entire development process, R&D, specifications, first trial production and taste panels will also fall into your remit.


Suitable candidates for this role will must speak french and will have factory knowledge combined with at least 3 years NPD experience. A background in confectionery is preferable, but all applicants from a food development environment will be considered. Working in a challenging but fun development role will require the candidate to have a deep passion for development intertwined with an enthusiastic but determined attitude to succeed.

The project will last a minimum 6 months and will need candidates to be based in Belgium during this time.
