This company is a major player and very well-known producer for chilled products. This is also shown through the quality of their products. They have a wide range of products and mostly are so well known and so well loved by millions of consumers. These chilled products are most probably within all households nationwide.

The Technical Manager's Key Responsibilities will be:
*Setting and monitoring standards for Food Safety, Integrity & Quality.
*To support in the development of a food safety awareness and quality culture to all employees.
*Ensure product legality with reference to trading standards requirements.
* To lead the development of a site HACCP and Integrity plans, maintaining document control and accessibility for all staff at all times, utilising all resources available.
*Conduct formal independent documented site and procedural audits to include senior management feedback, corrective action plan and shop floor communication.
*To lead raw material improvements from the supply base.
*Work closely with procurement around new raw materials and value engineering exercise.
*Communicate with appropriate audiences any issues and non-conformances.
*Support the Group Technical Auditor with technical audits and supplier visits.
*Assist the NPD team in product development, raising concerns to the relevant parties early in the process.

The Technical Manager's Essential's will be:
*Number of Food Safety issues & incidents, audit performance and customer feedback.
*Evidence of the development of such systems.
*Number of food labelling issues.
*HACCP & Integrity plans in place with full understanding by operations and technical teams and actively being driven.
*Demonstration that audits have been communicated followed up and driven improvement.
*Reduction in raw material issues over a set time period.
*Highlight issues before they happen with new raw materials.
