Renowned for quality, innovation and a diverse product range, our client continuous to strengthen their already successful operations team, a brand new site with the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager. The key responsibilities for this position will include managing all aspects of purchasing, production & materials planning, forecasting, purchase & sales order processing, and demand planning.

Key Accountabilities

You will produce capacity plans which will enable production to meet customer sale demands, and maintain an inventory planning system which forecasts demand to optimise efficiency and service levels. You will oversee the weekly production plan, liaise with the main retailers on promotional campaigns and conduct a weekly planning meeting with key stakeholders. In addition the role you will also be involved in regular meetings with suppliers to negotiating purchase prices, third-party finished product prices and supply agreements, with a materials budget. You will monitor supplier service levels and quality performance whilst building solid supplier relationships.

Personal Profile

  • Ideally a Supply chain management background in the food industry
  • Experience working  with ERP systems
  • Good project management and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and also a good team player
  • Strong knowledge of Supply chain, purchasing and planning
  • Result driven, eager to exceed customer satisfaction
