We're working with an exceptional branded food business who are well known and respected for their entrepreneurial ethos and innovative approach as well as their market leading products. They are now looking for a proactive and ambitious Commercial Executive to join their dynamic team in this challenging role.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, in this diverse role you’ll be given the opportunity to enrich your commercial career through developing and managing the sales performance of major accounts, aligning annual business plans with key customer and brand objectives. You’ll use your business acumen to actively seek out profitable opportunities within the food industry that complement customer strategies whilst maximising sales and margin.

You’ll also be managing customer expectations within agreed budgets and deadlines, providing optimum levels of service and ensuring enhanced business performance for both parties. In addition you will build strong working relationships with a varied internal and external customer base where you’ll use your networking skills to establish new contacts and promote company values.

The Person

We are looking for an outgoing and motivated Commercial Executive with a food or business related degree, strong commercial acumen and a passion for keeping up to date with the latest food trends. Previous experience in a similar sales or commercial role within the food industry is advantageous. You will have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you’ll ideally have worked with food retail or major multiple accounts. Great project management and organisational skills are also vital as you’ll be working to deadlines where you’ll be constantly assessing priorities and resolving enquiries. Please note that candidates are required to hold a full UK driving licence.
