You will be working for an expanding, well established, award winning business who supply into most of the UK major retailers. There is currently lots of growth happening with new buildings and an increase in production lines so there is excellent scope for career progression.
This is a brand-new position due to the ongoing success and growth of the business, this is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to make the role their own.
This is hands on role where you will be involved in all aspects of product development including concept to launch, product trials and implementation. You will develop new products for customers, improve existing products and investigate new ingredients, scale up products from kitchen concept to full scale production, maintain project files with sufficient details so that samples can be reproduced, liaise with key customers and suppliers, complete costing of new products and support the technical team in generating labels, artwork and finished product specifications.
You will be degree educated in a food discipline and possess at least 2 years food product development experience together with working knowledge of writing product specifications using UK retailer online portal systems. You will have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, experience with all Microsoft software packages (in particular Excel) and be a flexible team player, working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
The NPD Coordinator job is based in South West region and is paying a competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience.
