Multi-Skilled Engineer, Hampshire

Business Sector
Food Manufacturing
Contract Type

Getting a bit fed up of the same old equipment breaking again and again with management ignoring your repeated requests for investment?

If so, you will want to consider this opportunity. This company has put significant money into the upgrade of the equipment in the factory. They were already a global brand; this will hopefully push them into product lead status within this hotly contested category.

It would be wrong to suggest there won't be breakdowns or issues, the world of food and drink manufacturing has that as a written law. However, management are focused on fulfilling an objective that it won't be lack of investment in equipment and machinery that is the cause of this.

The remit of this opportunity is not dissimilar to other Multi-Skilled Engineer roles - your job is to keep the facility running as smoothly as possible to allow production to get the product out of the door. However, the environment you do this in will be different, shiny new equipment, management that are keen to get things right and have a goal to be industry lead in status.

Working for this business will put a globally recognised company on your CV and they will give plenty of training and support which will combine to give you a more rounded skillset and more opportunities for the future, be that internally or externally.

While the role and company are good and the salary is above market rate, you will need to work a rotating shift pattern.

You will need to have engineering experience (multi-skilled preferred but electrical or mechanical also of interest) in an FMCG and ideally food manufacturing sector. You should have your 17th edition and understand PLC systems.

Would be great to hear from you, please apply now.
