We are working exclusively with an industry leading team of consultants who pride themselves on delivering industry-leading agronomic advice and support to wide range of UK fruit growers. Along with their industry leading advice, our client also supplies a wide range of specialised Horticultural products that are tailored specifically for their extensive network of UK Top & Soft Fruit grower-members. Due to on-going success, there is now a vacancy for a horticulturally-experienced Commercial Manager for high quality products such as fruit trees, stakes, predators and bespoke fertilisers. The successful candidate will be part of the team located in the heart of the Garden of England in Kent.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be required to develop strong relationships with a range of European suppliers and of course many major UK-based fruit growers. You will be responsible for all product procurement, sales, planning, programming, budgets and product development.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years commercial experience within the Horticultural industry. The skill sets required include a strong negotiator, someone able to plan and organise their day with a good eye for detail, and an excellent communicator – especially with commercial growers. The successful individual will have the ambition, drive and ability to develop the business and truly shape its future.
£Very Competitive with discretionary bonus and fully expensed company car.
