We are now looking to recruit a HR Manager to be based at our Westerleigh site near Bristol. Reporting to the Site Lead, the successful HR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function at Westerleigh, influencing and partnering the site and working collaboratively as a member of the site management team. You will be the driving force behind HR engagement and implementation.
 
In this fast paced food manufacturing environment your role will be to ensure the site has an engaging, collaborative, flexible culture in which employees have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and make a difference.  Leading the site HR team, you will have a proactive approach to functional responsibilities, including employee relations, health and wellbeing, labour planning, site audits, HR KPI’s etc. Employee engagement and local community initiatives form a key part of our organisational culture and inclusion of these initiatives, as well as all other areas of HR focus including talent management and succession planning, form part of the wider site strategy.
 
About You!
 
The successful candidate will be fully CIPD qualified or equivalent and have proven experience in a generalist HR Manager role, ideally in a similar fast paced manufacturing environment. As you will be responsible for managing the small onsite HR team, proven coaching, mentoring and other team management and development skills are also a must. Strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is excellent attention to detail and the ability to be a confident forward thinker.
