This is a vacancy with a difference, and it's not for everyone. Our client is an international ingredients supplier, largely targeting the bakery, confectionery and dairy sectors. However - and here's the kicker - it has a limited presence in Europe. So what does that mean?? We're looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager with international experience in a technical area of the food ingredients industry. You'll already be based in central Europe (not the UK) and along with your native language and English, any other languages will be beneficial. The majority of business at the moment is done through a network of distributors, so experience of managing distributors would be highly beneficial.

The market potential for this company in Europe is HUGE so we're looking for someone with a fantastic track record of winning new business. Last year alone, the European market DOUBLED in size and this trend is set to continue. The good news - there will be excellent bonus potential to enable a really driven Sales Manager to reap the rewards of helping to grow the company in Europe.

We're looking for someone who is technically minded that can demonstrate success as an International Business Development Manager, European Account Manager or similar position. This will have been gained in the functional food ingredients or flavours industry - and exposure to dairy, bakery and confectionery customers would be particularly beneficial. As the role will be 25-50% travel, a willingness to travel on an international level, with a strong cultural awareness, is essential.
