About the Role

Here at Refresco, our bold vision is to produce one billion litres of drinks annually. By enabling the business to improve profitability and reduce costs, as well as facilitating further growth, our supply chain team is integral to this. 
The Planning Manager role reports to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, and leads a team of four focused on production planning. This is an all encompassing planning role to provide the most cost effective plan to the business to deliver 99.5% ex factory service. It is high profile role and integral to the smooth day-to-day running of our business as well as having a long term strategic view.

Key measures of success include ex factory service, frequency of manufacture, short dated stock and material shorts versus plan targets. You will need to work closely with and build exceptional and positive working relations with our Production teams spanning four Factories.

About You

Highly driven and ambitious, a strong people manager and able to work under pressure you will be able to get the most out of the planning team through excellent motivational and energetic leadership, embracing challenges and driving improvements and efficiencies. You will be a strategic thinker but also able to manage the day-to-day challenges due to your strong track record in the manufacturing industry and experience working in a high complexity food manufacturing environment (FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry sector experience would be relevant, as an alternative to Food and Drinks Manufacturing). A team player, you’re good at building strong relationships. Influential and enthusiastic, you’ve got exceptional communication skills. You’ll enjoy inspiring others and getting them as excited as you are about all things supply chain production planning.
You will already have experience in a similar Supply Chain Planning role, leading a team and working with systems such as ERP, APS, APO, Preactor and Manugistics.

Refresco Beverages UK based Bridgwater , Somerset, employs 850 people and we run four factories producing circa 700 million litres per annum, our target is a billion litres by the end of 2018, and we are well on target to achieve this goal. We work with all the leading UK retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's and Sainsbury to produce their private labels and with branded customers such as Innocent, Ocean Spray and Um Bongo. 
Refresco floated publicly on the Euronext stock exchange in March 2015. In July 2016 we announced the acquisition of Whitlock Packaging in the US, our first foray in to the US drinks market, adding 900 million litres of drinks per annum to our production.
