After Sales Technical Support – UK

For service and maintenance of High-end slaughtering equipment

For our customer base in the UK and Ireland we are searching for a skilled, ambitious person, with experience in carrying out a wide range of service tasks in cooperation with our European After Sales Team.

You will have a coordinating role and interaction with colleagues in Holland and Denmark. You know the meaning of good service and are an excellent communicator who understands the customers’ needs.

You are proficient in handling multiple requests at a time, work independently and in a structured way. You are responsive to change and have a proactive approach to both performance of tasks and our customers.

Fields of responsibility

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks covering all the commercial and administrative aspects within After Sales in the UK.

Your key duties will include:

  • Coordination, planning and execution of service and repair
  • Sales of Service concepts/solutions
  • Preparation of cost estimates for service inspections
  • Follow-up and invoicing of service and repair tasks
  • Managing of customer cases
  • Technical advice and support to customers
  • Reporting in ERP, CRM and QA systems

You will render high-level services to our customers in connection with planned maintenance and ad hoc service, participate in the installation of new plants and follow up on QA matters. 

Another important task is to represent our company on the UK market – by being the daily point of contact to the customers, ensuring and building good relationships with them.

Profile

You will have a strong technical background e.g. as an automatic control and systems engineer or an electrician, possibly with a supplementary education as a marine engineer or the like. It will be an advantage if you have proven experience in direct sales of technical service solutions.

As a person you are independent, systematic and structured. You are outgoing and very service-minded, have a positive attitude and a good sense of humor. You take pride in involving the customers to adjust expectations in relation to the service tasks, and you will not leave a job until it is well done.

In addition, you are used to working under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team.

Most important is that you have experience from a similar position that you are enterprising and have a personal drive making you able to spot where to put your efforts both technically and commercially. 

It is also important that you are able to prioritize and structure a hectic work schedule which will be crucial keys to your success in this job.
