We have a vacancy for a highly committed and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager.
 
Reporting to the site HR lead and working closely with the site senior leadership team and Group Health and Safety management, you will ensure all health and safety and environmental management systems are in place and fully adhered to, ensure thorough implementation of Safe Systems of Work and undertake regular and in depth risk assessments in all areas of the business. Regular internal and external audits and associated KPI’s will also form an important part of this role. In addition, you will support the development of an intrinsic Health & Safety culture across the site, working with all key stakeholders to develop and maintain a positive HSE culture, helping them understand their role in health and safety management.
 
You will also maintain active communication with all relevant regulatory bodies and ensure any associated changes, as well as any legislative changes, are thoroughly communicated to the business and fully implemented.
 
People Are Our Difference!
 
You will hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and ideally a qualification in Environmental Management. Study support may be given as an option to an exceptional candidate who is able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience who wishes to gain the NEBOSH Diploma.
 
Experience in an FMCG environment and being a competent user of Excel is essential.
 
The ability to build working relationships at all levels is also crucial, along with first class communication and influencing skills, a flexible approach to work, attention to detail and working to tight deadlines.
