Our client is a successful, multi-site food manufacturing business. They supply a wide range of branded and own label goods for the UK retail sector.

This role with lead technical function on site, and host all retailer and BRC visits and audits. You will manage and motivate a team to achieve the highest quality standards on site, and have a hands on approach to working in the food industry.
Although reporting into a Group Technical Manager, this will be an autonomous position and the successful candidate needs to have the confidence, and experience to take the lead when needed.
In regards to day to day responsibilities, you will be responsible for all food safety issues, hygiene and pest control, the HACCP plan, traceability and integrity of all products.
This role is a Monday – Friday position, based in West Yorkshire.
• At least 3-5 years in a technical position within food manufacturing, ideally at Technical Manager Level.
• Experience working with retailer. Must have led customer audits.
• Pro-active, enthusiastic and passionate about food.
