This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established food processing business which sources and supplies product from over 20 countries. The business has grown rapidly and is now one of the UK’s largest independent importers and distributors within their market sector.
As Technical Coordinator, the purpose of your role is to develop and maintain a robust system which ensures customer requirements are met and feedback is provided within required timeframes requested. You will support and work collaboratively within the Technical and HACCP teams as well as with the other departments helping to ensure the food under control is legal, safe and of the required quality. You will also maintain the service providers approval database to ensure subcontracted service providers are operating in a legal and safe way to the required quality.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator job, you will possess at least 2 years experience of working in a similar technical role within food manufacturing completing product specifications, SAQ’s and technical documentation. Intermediate Level 3 HACCP qualification is essential with experience of working within a HACCP team and you will also possess knowledge and understanding of BRC requirements, food Industry practices and procedures.
The Technical Coordinator job is based in the Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying c. £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
