My client who is a food manufacturer are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a proven track record within food manufacturing. They are a leading specialist in supplying the UK market with high quality products. They supply to retailers, food-to-go and convenience retail stores as well as independent retailers. My client is looking to expand and is targeting expansion into North America, Europe and Asia markets.

The role entails you to have a proactive response to engineering issues. You will be a truly multi-skilled engineer with good knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems. In addition to experience in working with engineering software to carry out planned preventative maintenance. Exposure to PLCs is essential.

A background as a multi-skilled engineer would be ideal, experience within a food manufacturing setting and an engineering qualifications such as City and Guilds or HND is a must as well as 17th Edition Wiring regulations. An apprenticeship within a food manufacturer is also highly regarded.
