This is a newly created position due to the ongoing success and growth of the business.
You will be a valuable addition to the technical team where you will play a key role in ensuring that all food safety, quality, technical, legal and customer requirements are met in full.
You will help to deliver continuous improvement whilst maintaining third party certifications, be a key member of the HACCP team, assist with internal audit of the QMS, carry out reviews and maintenance of QMS records plus provide robust and effective technical support to the customer. This position presents a fantastic opportunity to really make an impact, grow the role into your own and there is excellent scope for professional development for the right candidate.
You will possess at least 1-2 years experience of working in a technical capacity within food manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory or team lead role. You will also preferably be educated to a degree level within food, quality, agriculture or similar discipline and ideally be HACCP qualified. You will have good attention to detail and an enthusiasm to continuously improve quality, through analysis and investigation. A full UK valid driving licence is essential.
The Trainee Technical Manager job is based in the South East region and is paying c. £20,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, however the occasional weekend cover may be required during peak times.
