Production Planner, Norfolk
Boutique confectionery manufacturer based in the heart of Norfolk seeks experienced Production Planner - find your "sweet spot"...
Once you have visited this place, you won't want to leave! Healthy, Organic, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, right on trend, natural and booming - this is a true story of business growth, continued success and expansion. And now it's time to write your own story within this innovative and rewarding business culture.
This is your opportunity to be part of a small but growing team making luxurious, high-end branded products. A product range you can really be proud of, with technical integrity, exquisite ingredients and exceptional quality. Your role as Planner will be integral to ensure all ingredients are present, available and ready for daily production - without you these treats that spark joy would simply not be made!
In joining this team you can enjoy great work facilities, including purpose built lunch canteen area, with indoor and outdoor facilities (there is even a BBQ area - due to be lit again very soon we hope!), regular social activities, investment in personal development and training, and a commitment to employee well-being all contribute to the friendly, warm and happy team environment you experience as you go around. Real employee satisfaction is tangible here! A large number of the staff are currently on training courses and this is supported and encouraged to help their ongoing development.
Did I also mention that the working hours help? This role is 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday so not your standard food factory at all!
So much to say, I have almost forgotten you will be here to do a job!...
Responsibilities of the Planner will be as follows:
- Production planning of two departments
- Stock checks and reconciliation
- Data and reporting on shortages, OTIF, ordering etc.
- Communication with production teams, procurement and sales
- Optimise stock availability and customer service levels
- Maximise production efficiencies
If you like a varied environment, where you can muck-in and help others; if you are a strong communicator and have demonstrable Production Planning experience coupled with strong Excel skills then we want to hear from you. The ability to influence, innovate and be pro-active are all skills that would be highly beneficial.
If you are excited about the opportunity as described, we would be very keen to discuss your application and the company in more detail. So please email or phone Zoe Gmaj at the address and number shown.
