This is an excellent opportunity to work in a talented team where you will ensure that all products comply with food safety, quality and legal requirements through the implementation of technical and quality systems.
Whilst actively promoting good manufacturing processes, you will also calibrate monitoring equipment, conduct product assessment on finished goods as well as conducting QA line checks and internal audits. The identification of root cause of non-conformity / complaints and the implementation of corrective actions together with completing all relevant paperwork in accordance with the company standards will also be part of your role.
You will be educated to a minimum of a HND level in a food science/technology discipline and/or possess solid quality assurance / technical experience within food manufacturing. You will preferably possess good working knowledge of quality assurance principles, GMP, internal auditing plus HACCP and BRC requirements.
The Quality Technician role is based in the South Coast UK / South East region and is paying £22,000 - £24,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm.
This role is initially an 18-24 month contract with the possibility for a permanent position.
