Join the Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) team working out of our picturesque site setting in Cornwall, which produces award winning soft cheese for all the main retailers. As Quality Co-ordinator / QA you will report into the QEHS Manager, working full time (days), Monday to Friday, but with the flexibility to provide support over a weekend when occasionally required.

This is an exciting, growth role providing support and technical expertise to our site teams to maintain, govern and further develop our food safety and quality management systems and product compliance. In doing so, you will gain exposure within a leading multinational diary company and help ensure we comply fully with legal, Arla Foods and Customer standards at all times.

You will be involved in developing and delivering HACCP, and other risk management tools, quality systems, auditing, problem-solving, data management and hold a key role in helping Colleagues across our site to excel in their food safety and quality responsibilities at all times. As a key part of the QEHS team, you will support other team members and deputise where appropriate.

Make an Impact
  • Candidates will require a sound working knowledge of food manufacturing operations across the supply chain, preferably with chilled foods experience. Some practical experience with the development of HACCP and quality management systems to current BRC and retailer/foodservice compliance standards is required. Experience of internal auditing, good manufacturing practice (GMP) and retailer audits.
  • Ideally holding a Train the Trainer qualification, Advanced Food Hygiene, level 3 HACCP and some exposure to health and safety beneficial.
  • Candidates must have a positive, organised and resilient approach to all aspects of their work, and be able to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills and experience of MS Office essential, with any exposure to SAP an advantage.
