Senior Technical Manager
This is a newly created senior position providing technical leadership to well established technical/quality teams in a fast growing and dynamic business. You will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, people management ability and strong stakeholder management ability with your customers.
The business have gone through transformational growth in recent years, opening up new facilities and expanding their product range. Strong quality/technical standards have always been a cornerstone of their business and this position has been created to ensure consistently strong technical management to futureproof their business.
This role has 3 main pillars:
1) Provide strategic technical management to the teams through coaching, developing, recruiting and retaining high performing technical teams.
2) Be the main point of contact for the customer base (British retailers)
3) Provide systems expertise, ensuring they are thorough, being implemented effectively and are fit for purpose, both now in the future.
You will be an experienced technical manager/head of technical with chilled food product knowledge. It is essential that you have had experience in dealing with the major retailers and have a track record of developing high performing technical teams.
Ideally, you will have had multi site experience but the business would consider high performing site technical managers ready for the next step in their career.
£60,000-£65,000 + car allowance, bonus, private healthcare and pension
