Food Technologist responsible for working closely with Multiple Retailer Customers managing all aspects of Technical Compliance.
This is a highly automated and fast-moving business and needs an individual with excellent customer and technical compliance abilities.
As Food Technologist, you would be the main point of contact for key retail customers from a technical perspective.
You will be responsible for:
·Customer's specification database
·Co-ordination and management of customer's site visits
·Liaising on any queries, with the opportunity to develop and build strong working relationships with the retailers
·Operational compliance of the site Quality Assurance policies and procedures ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required customer agreed standard
You'll enjoy a lot of autonomy in this role and trust to manage your retailer relationships, whilst being part of a friendly and supportive team. This is a Monday to Friday role - 8am to 4.30pm.
We are looking for somebody who can:
·Demonstrates good working knowledge of quality assurance principles, GMP, internal auditing plus HACCP and BRC requirements.
·Manage, motivate and develop the site QA policies and procedures ensuring that all aspects of the business are monitored and systems put in place for continuous improvement.
·Prepare and participate in site customer and accreditation audits.
·Demonstrate planning, organisational and analytical skills.
·Work with and communicate with all levels in the business.
·Demonstrated competency in compiling, completing and authoring of customer specifications, labels and online systems.
