We can't do it on our own though, which is why we're looking for a Distribution Centre Lead to join our Logistics team and help us ensure that our boxes of deliciousness reach our customers every time, on time.

The Job:

Based in our warehouse in Staines and working Sunday - Thursday, you'll be responsible for everything people and operations at the HelloFresh Fleet Delivery hub. Reporting into the Fleet Lead, you and your team leaders will oversee end to end delivery - from point of dispatch at the packing warehouse, right to the customer's doorstep.

What you'll do:

  • Provide input into the overall strategy of the internal last mile delivery around how we address financial, legal, operational and people targets as well as future strategic initiatives e.g. technology
  • Own the performance of the fleet, including; Track, improve and achieve all measurable KPIs and own improvement plans
  • Recruit and develop a stable team of motivated and effective brand ambassadors
  • Build, maintain and continuously improve the quality of communication across the last mile delivery teams and physics hubs

Who you are:

  • Practical knowledge and experience in a DC/Logistics environment
  • FMCG and grocery retail knowledge preferable
  • Managed a large team in an operational environment
  • Track record of identifying operational improvements and influencing others to deliver change
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to build a strong sense of team ownership and maintain a high level of morale within the work force
  • Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
  • Embraces change and challenge
  • Great sense of humour
