Due to growth we have 2 vacancies at our site in Spalding in Lincolnshire.
These positions are working 12 hour shifts on days and nights on a 2 and 3 shift pattern as below:
Monday and Tuesday 6pm to 6am
Wednesday and Thursday off
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm
Monday and Tuesday off
Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 6am
Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
and so on
This role offers an extremely competitive salary.
As Maintenance Engineer you will carry out basic fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on the production line equipment to rectify any minor faults.
You will adhere to maintenance machinery schedule to ensure all issues and resolutions are fully documented at all times. At the end of each shift you will be responsible for completing the Engineering logbook to record any stock removed from the Engineering stores to ensure accurate stock control and audit ready.
Communication is key, so you’ll need to ensure you consult with the operations team to confirm they are fully aware of engineering activities and schedules.
The Ideal Candidate
As a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be a time served accredited apprentice or have equivalent experience with appropriate certification. You will have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment and as such will bring with you an excellent understanding of the maintenance of Engineering Systems.
