D R Newitt is working in partnership with a premium food manufacturer to appoint a Technical Manager. Based at their production facility in London you will be you will be taking full responsibility for the technical function including food safety. This is a great chance to work with top spec products supplying high-end retailers.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Technical Manager, will ensure the company is operating in compliance to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and their customers technical standard at all times across four site areas.
Other responsibilities include:
- Management of HACCP systems
- Management of all company technical and quality manuals and QMS
- Oversee the internal audit schedule
- Manage supplier and raw material approval
- Maintain and improve the Safety, Legality and Quality of products manufactured
- Manage the NPD team
- Customer facing
Working Monday to Friday (09:00am until 17:00pm) with an initial starting salary up to £70,000 per annum (DOE) you will be considered for this position if you demonstrate previous management experience; experience of dealing with customers; up to date BRC knowledge and high risk/care, chilled manufacturing experience.
