At our Hatfield Regional Distribution Centre we currently have a vacancy for a Contract Administrator. This is an important role which must support the Contract Manager and the wider Commercial team to enable the customer agreements/contractual obligations are adhered to and performance expectations are met/exceeded.

Responsibilities
* Being the initial point of contact for operational queries from the customer, facilitating cross functional requirements and holding all parties accountable to deliver best in class service

* Support the development and delivery of the business plans, commercial targets and P&L

* Take ownership of value added activities, ensuring they are costed & managed as per process

* Support the management of warehouse performance and efficiency's such as stock adjustments, returns, claims, wastage and other ad-hoc projects

* Seek out opportunities to improve current processes to improve efficiency's and reduce costs such as pick productivity, labour utilisation, pallet damages etc

* Develop relationships with key customer contacts in order to gain knowledge of customers business needs and ensure delivery of expectations

* Review and manage performance KPI's ensuring data is accurate and relevant

* Support controllers/manager - Attend, participate and co-ordinate customer/partner/supplier meetings - ensuring all actions are complete in timeframe agreed

* Tracking and monitoring operational performance for both suppliers, partners and customers

* Escalate any underperforming KPI's or costed activity to restore to expected levels with minimal impact


Skills

We are looking for excellent communicators who can work effectively under pressure during peak periods and who preferably have previous experience and knowledge of the supply chain and logistics industry. In addition we are also looking for the following:

* A track record and proven ability managing FMCG blue chip contracts (essential)

* Previous experience in customer service/administration (essential)

* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel package

* SAP Knowledge (preferred not essential)

* Ability to Travel
