Intamarque Limited is a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business who specialise in growing FMCG Brands within the Health, Beauty and Household sectors. They have enjoyed huge growth, growing sales to £35million in 10 years. The Brand Team currently have currently 4 prestige brands being distributed via Intamarque, with further brand growth in the next 3-5 years. In particular the successful candidate will be working with Australia’s number one self-tanning brand, Bondi Sands.
Since launching into the UK market 3 years ago, Bondi Sands has enjoyed rapid growth, becoming one of the top self-tanning brands in the U.K’s largest and most recognised Health and Beauty retailers. With exciting plans for continued growth and NPD in 2018. To assist this growth, Intamarque are now looking to appoint a Demand Planner as well as also work with additional brands as their portfolio expands.
Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, the Demand Planner will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. This position would be responsible for creating and maintaining forecasts for retailers such as Tesco, Boots,This would be done by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, retailer demand planning teams, and other sources (i.e.: customer EPOS data). The role will also involve data analysis and reviews of sales data.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Manage New Product Development estimations and to liaise with Senior Brand Manager and Senior National Account Manager on launch timings and availability
- Access customer online systems
- Record customer distribution and ensure stock is available in line with customer forecasts
- Support the Senior Brand Manager and National Account Manager with any reasonable request
An analytical mind as well as a keen eye for detail is imperative, as well as a confident and positive attitude towards work. Experience in a similar role within an FMCG company is favourable, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner to a range of people.
