What you will do:
Lead the production, supply and distribution of Cold Drink Equipment, safely, effectively and efficiently to meet and exceed customer service requirements and business results.
You will be focused on:
1. Enable the Exploitation of Existing and Developing Product Categories
Champions and manage site resources and leverage central resources to support Commercialisation
2. Excel in Internal and External Customer Management
Ensure efficient and effective warehousing and distribution activities to fulfil customer orders on time and in full
Integrate with the BU to deliver their ABP on equipment, responding to the changing market place needs
3. Drive efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure all refurbishment and installation of Cold Drink Equipment is done effectively
Ensure site compliance with SOX and Corporate procedures
Ensure the supply of parts and equipment is in line with both targets and forecast
Manage and reduce working capital
4. Drive Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Ensure that all work practices and processes within the site comply with CCEP Supply Chain standards and at minimum to legal requirements
Represent CCEP locally and manage community activity appropriately to build the reputation of CCEP as a world class employer in the local community in connection with Supply Chain initiatives and BU Public Affairs
Own the resolution of unexpected incidents and accidents in accordance with CCEP’s Incident Management and Crisis Resolution processes to ensure risk to customer service is minimised and costs are controlled
Act as the guardian of the Security Policy to ensure risk to CCEP property, assets and employees are identified and action-plans in place to reduce
Drive and support the CRS agenda on the environment, sustainability and diversity
Provide guidance on quality standards and health and safety standards and ensure that high standards are maintained and continuously improved
5. Functional Excellence/Continuous Improvement
Lead and facilitate appropriate change management plans to ensure change is adopted early and embedded into day to day practices
Lead and role model labour relations, taking communication and involvement through site-based forums to build a climate of co-operation and engagement
Leverage central function and peers capabilities to increase performance of local organisation
6. Continuous Improvement
Be responsible for the establishment of a Continuous Improvement culture in partnership with the CI COE to ensure that operational performance improves year on year and a culture of Continuous Improvement is created incorporating World Class Manufacturing attributes
Manage the third part suppliers to achieve our standard and service levels
7. Site People Leadership
Lead the site Cold Drinks Team, providing the vision, direction and support to enable them to deliver their objectives and optimise and develop their performance
Manage site negotiations with union representatives within scope of roadmap
Play a directive role across the site, personally role-modelling behaviours and own performance required to achieve the site’s objectives
Create a culture of effective cross-functional working on site and proactively engage with the leadership team within Supply Chain to realise improvement opportunities
Engage with the Business Units and Supply Chain leadership team to realise improvement opportunities
What we expect from you:
Graduate calibre, likely to hold engineering/logistics professional qualification
Extensive general management experience likely to be about 15 years +, of which 5 years in a functional leadership role e.g. ops mgr.
Career experience in FMCG/world class manufacturing/distribution operations especially in a volatile/seasonal business
Process improvement track record
Transformational change guidance
Wider commercial and business understanding and contribution
Significant resource management/budget and risk management, e.g. managing indirect costs of c.£5 – 10 M
People leadership of a function of 150 people + in a unionised environment
