Pay Rates
£24,000 Per annum
Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours
Full time working 39 hours per week, mainly dayshift Monday to Friday but flexibility is required.
Temporary 6 months contract, possibility of extending.
Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the Quality Management System. You will assist with the amending site procedures and site documentation relating to food safety and product quality. 
Key Responsibilities: 
* Assist with implementing the Quality Management System across the site in line with the requirements of the BRC Standard.
* Assist with the amending of site documents.
* Maintain the document control system.
* Assist with the management of the Internal Audit System
* Assist with the management of the complaint system
* Support QA team in site QMS and process audits
* Support the Technical Department (e.g. gathering data, report writing, data entry, trend analysis etc).
* Assist with ensuring key documents such as raw material & finished product specifications are in place and are accurate.
* To build good relationships across the site.

Skills
* Food industry experience desirable.
* High level of numerical and written skills
* Proficient in IT (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, databases)
* Results focussed with excellent Communication skills and the ability to influence others
* Qualifications –CIEH Food Hygiene Level 3 or equivalent,
* High level of planning and organisational skills.
