Outstanding opportunity to work as a Technical Service Manager in the heart of beautiful Norfolk. Products are ambient, and supplied mainly B2B and to foodservice, but this doesn't mean that retailer accounts won't grow as they continue to evolve! The people are what make this business and it is a friendly, professional and open business where you will feel part of the team from day one and will be given a real remit to shape change and drive technical excellence.

The company continues to expand and has recently invested further in NPD bringing lots of new products to market, so it is a great time to get involved in ensuring Technical excellence for the whole site, improving on products and processes, working with people and instilling a true sense of proactive Quality Assurance and nurturing this culture. You will be integral in leading this with both the quality team and quality systems. You will be a fresh pair of eyes - this business wants to hear how it can improve, what it may be doing wrong and how it can align better with the technical standards demanded by major retailers. Receptive to change and wanting an influencer, there are both low hanging fruit and long term project goals to grab here!

We need a hands-on leader, an inspirational and well-rounded technical professional who can lead a small team of QAs. There is also every possibility this could lead to a bigger role in the future for the right person.

Other responsibilities:
  • Review and implement QMS
  • Review current processes and procedures
  • HACCP and TACCP
  • Allergens and Specifications
  • Close out non-conformances
  • Customer complaints
  • Deputise for the Technical Manager when required
