Acoura, part of the Lloyds Register Group, is a specialist Food and Drink supply chain food safety, health & safety risk and compliance management business. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to appoint experienced Consultants with an Environmental Health background and experience of working in the commercial sector or an ambition to move into this sector.

Your role will include auditing, training and providing support in the form of policy development, and investigation of accidents, incidents and alleged food poisonings to our customers in hospitality, retail and care sectors. Every day is different and will challenge and reward you in equal parts.

You will be able demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of both food safety and health and safety legislation. Your qualifications will include a Degree in Environmental Health.  Chartered membership of CIEH and or IOSH is desirable. As a person you will be a team player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will have great attention to detail and be able to work independently and be able to manage you own diary and multi-tasking will not phase you.  You will be competent in the use of IT packages such as excel, word, powerpoint and ideally have experience with the management of databases and client facing online portals. 

This is a national role and as such you will spend the majority of your time auditing and training clients and there will be a large element of travel within the UK.

Salary is commensurate with experience but you can expect a competitive package.
